How to Make Apple pie with dough
Instructions
- Heat the filling ingredients for 10 to 15 minutes or until the apple softens. Book for later.
- For the dough, mix the butter with the sugar and the eggs. Sift the dry ingredients and mix, don't knead, we just want to integrate the ingredients.
- Wrap the dough in film and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 180º, heat up and down.
- Roll out the dough and cut 1/3 of it to make the strips.
- Cover a removable 24 cm diameter mold with 2/3 of the dough. Turn over the apple filling, taking care to remove the cinnamon sticks.
- With the rest of the dough you make strips to build a horizontal and vertical trellis on the apples. Paint with an egg and bake at 180º for 35 to 45 minutes. Let it cool before serving.
