How to Make Eggnog
Instructions
- Whisk yolks in a bowl, along with the sugar. Until the yolks whiten. Add the milk and half of the cream, pour in the liqueurs and refrigerate for at least an hour, ideal up to one day.
- When you are going to serve it, beat the egg whites until it holds on the rods.
- Remove the yolk mixture from the refrigerator.
- Add the egg whites to the eggnog carefully using enveloping movements so that they do not come down.
- Whisk the remaining cream, until it is whipped but does not harden.
- Serve it in a glass or cup, and sprinkle with a pinch of nutmeg.
