How to Make Rice pudding cake

- Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
- Boil the rice in a pot of water with 1 teaspoon of salt until al dente, about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar, rum, zest, juice, vanilla and salt until combined.
- Add the milk and rice and stir to combine.
- Grease a round removable mold and sprinkle 1 tablespoon of sugar on top.
- Pour the mixture.
- Bake until the top is golden brown, about 45 minutes.
- Let it cool in the mold before unmolding.
- Cover the top with sugar and mash until it is burnt and browned.
