How to Make Gorditas

    Step 1
  • Mix the oil, baking powder, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir until fully incorporated.

  • Add the flour and mix them with your hand until they are integrated.
  • Step 3
  • Add the milk little by little, and knead until you get a dough that doesn't stick to your fingers.
  • Step 4
  • Take out small balls and stretch them with a kneading stick or your hands.

  • Heat some oil in a pan over low heat.
  • Step 6
  • When it is hot, add the gorditas and leave them until they are browned on the bottom.

  • Turn them over and leave until golden brown on the other side.
