How to Make Arequipa scribano

Instructions

    Step 1
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a baking dish and set aside.
  • Step 2
  • In a large bowl, beat the eggs until frothy. Add the evaporated milk, milk, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla and mix well.
  • Step 3
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan.
  • Step 4
  • In a skillet, heat the water and sugar over medium heat until a golden caramel forms. Remove from heat and pour over the egg mixture in the mold.
  • Step 5
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden and the mixture is firm to the touch.
  • Step 6
  • Allow to cool before serving. Sprinkle with additional sugar before serving.
