How to Make Arequipa scribano
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a baking dish and set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs until frothy. Add the evaporated milk, milk, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla and mix well.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan.
- In a skillet, heat the water and sugar over medium heat until a golden caramel forms. Remove from heat and pour over the egg mixture in the mold.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden and the mixture is firm to the touch.
- Allow to cool before serving. Sprinkle with additional sugar before serving.
