Instructions
- Chop the meat if it isn't cut, season it and brown it in the pot over high heat (it's okay if it sticks or the brown stuff stays on the bottom, this is what we want)
- While we chop the celery, onion and carrot into not very large pieces and once the meat is golden brown, we take it out and throw the vegetables into the pot and stir
- When the vegetables are cooked a little (for inexperienced people, the onion is a little translucent) add the tomato and fry everything over medium high heat
- When it seems that the vegetables are burning with the tomato, add the wine or beer and scrape off the parts that may have stuck to the pan so that they can be incorporated into the mixture.
- While we cut our potatoes and add them together with the meat that we had set aside to the pot
- Now we cover with water or water with the broth tablet until all the ingredients are covered, we also add the bay leaf and pepper here and we can add the soy sauce if we want it to have a darker color
- Cover the pot and leave it on low heat until the potatoes are soft. If we want a thicker stew we can, once finished, dilute a couple of teaspoons of cornstarch in water and stir it well.
