How to Make Sponge cake with plums
Instructions
- Sift the flour, baking powder and cinnamon into a bowl and mix.
- In another bowl, mix the pomade butter with the sugar and mix it.
- Add an egg to the butter/sugar mixture and beat until you get a homogeneous mass.
- Add 1/3 of the flour mixture to the butter bowl and stir.
- Add two tablespoons of natural yogurt to the mixture and continue whisking.
- Add another third of flour to the mixture and beat.
- Add the rest of the yogurt and mix again.
- Add the last third of flour and mix everything well.
- Spread butter and flour in a removable mold so that the cake does not stick to us.
- Put the mixture in the mold and smooth out the top of the dough.
- Remove the bones from the plums and cut them into slices.
- Place the plum slices on top of the dough and sprinkle it with brown sugar.
- In the preheated oven at 180º, place the cake and leave it for approximately 45 minutes.
- We take it out of the oven and once it is cold we can unmold it and serve it.
