How to Make Chicken Parmesan

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Step 2
  • Place each chicken breast between plastic wrap and pound them to an even thickness. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Step 3
  • In three separate shallow dishes, place the flour in one, whisk the eggs in another, and combine the breadcrumbs with grated Parmesan cheese in the third.
  • Step 4
  • Dip each chicken breast into the flour, then the beaten eggs, and finally coat them with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  • Step 5
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded chicken breasts for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Place them on a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil.
  • Step 6
  • In a separate ovenproof dish, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce. Place the fried chicken breasts on top.
  • Step 7
  • Spoon more marinara sauce over each chicken breast, and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
